Several people are wondering why certain app’s colors have changed from their school colors to a common blue/gray theme. I was contacted by the Collegiate Licensing Company (who manage many school’s licensing and trademarks) and asked to remove the color schemes of several schools who did not wish me to use them. I found it highly odd that a school could have rights to colors but for their defense they cited me to a somewhat recent court case involving several schools vs. Smack Apparel. I, unfortunately, had no choice to change the colors or they could simply contact Apple and have the app removed from the store altogether. While the app lost some uniqueness and school spirit, the content remains the same and will continue to give you updated schedules, rosters and more.

After an entire month, Apple has finally approved four new teams that I submitted. The following apps added are:

True Blue (UCLA)

Garnet & Gold (Florida State)

Rah Rah (Kansas)

Yellowhammer (Alabama)

Yellow & Blue, the app for Michigan Wolverine fans, is now in the App Store.

Fight On, for fans of USC Trojans, has also been submitted to Apple.

Maroon & Gold (Arizona State Sun Devils) and Go Green! (Michigan State Spartans) have been submitted to the App Store.

iBuck (Ohio State Buckeyes) and Orange & Blue (Florida Gators) have been submitted to the App Store.

Texas Fight is now in the App Store. Sooner Spirit and Aggie Spirit will appear in the App Store tonight.

I have renamed all of the apps to prevent any trademark infringement. The renames are as follows:

Oklahoma State App – Orange Power

Sooner Spirit – Crimson

Texas Fight – Orangeblood

Raider Power – Scarlet

Bear Fan – Green & Gold

The Texas Tech App has been submitted to the App Store.

Version 1.0.2 of the Oklahoma State App was submitted to the App Store a few days ago. This includes bug fixes and UI improvements. Texas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M have also been submitted and should be appearing in the App Store within the next week.
